A love of wood and superlative craftsmanship defines Italian brand, Porada. Established by chair-maker Luigi Allievi in 1948, the company has gained an outstanding reputation for producing furniture that melds form with function, and elegance with longevity.

Porada’s varied collections are designed by renowned designers. These include A. Borgogni, whose Allison sofa (top image) in Canaletto walnut with fabric-covered, feather-filled cushions makes a striking impression. Designer G. Carollo also utilises Canaletto walnut on the Demetra Bookcase, comprising a modular system with two different sized elements that can be combined.

Oscar e Gabriele Buratti unites this walnut wood with Bronzoro metal in the elegant Eley writing desk, replete with four drawers and brushed brass feet.
